Photograms, 2003 Signed Limited Edition.

These works were made whilst I was a student at Central Saint Martins School of Art. The works were made in the school’s darkroom in the presence of the darkroom assistant, my photography tutors and fellow students. At our end of year submission one of my tutors told me I had definitely passed however they did not tell me the grade I was going to receive, both my tutors insisted I continue my studies and do a Masters in Photography, I was therefore bemused to discover many years later a certificate from the University among my paperwork that awarded me no grade and said I had “followed a Postgraduate Course” along with a letter from the University referring to the University Handbook Guidelines. I don’t recall receiving the letter or being awarded a certificate that said I had “followed” a course, I do recall receiving my certificate in the post that said I had “Passed”.
